 What the hell is that? 

 It’s flying in the sky!

Sarudono, that’s called an airplane.

The first successful powered flight of an airplane was 1903,

by the Wright Brothers of America.

Later, in 1910,

for the first time in Japan, a powered airplane succeeded in flight.

Therefore, there were no airplanes in the Edo period when Mr. Saru was here.

Saturday, July 6, 2024,

ITAMI Runway Walk will be held at Osaka International Airport in Itami, Osaka.

This is an event where you can walk along the runway, take commemorative photos, and watch a chemical fire truck discharging water.

The runway is usually inaccessible to visitors.

This event is open to elementary and junior high school students and their parents living in the surrounding 10 cities.

It’s an experience you don’t get to have very often!

It will be a memory that will last a lifetime!

Time: 4:50 a.m. to 7:10 a.m. (tentative)
Location / Within the restricted area of Osaka International Airport
Registration Time / 4:20 a.m. to 4:40 a.m.
Registration area / Osaka Monorail Osaka Airport Station
       Osaka Monorail Osaka Airport Station

Target / Elementary and junior high school students and their parents/guardians living in the surrounding 10 cities.     Elementary and junior high school students and their guardians (age 20 or older) who live in the surrounding 10 cities.
Ikeda City, Suita City, Toyonaka City, Minoh City in Osaka Prefecture, Ashiya City, Amagasaki City, Itami City, Kawanishi City, Takarazuka City, Nishinomiya City in Hyogo Prefecture

*Required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 Participation is not permitted if preschool children or high school students who are not eligible for the program are included.
   
Maximum number of participants: 85
   Up to 4 people per family may apply.

Participation fee: Free of charge
